Kick off for the season

With Giles covering Wales team MSC were also at the 4th round of the always well organised Gorrick at Porridgepot Hill as a season warmer upper for the upcoming national series.

This was Jason and myself's first race of the season although the poseur (did you know he owns 4 pairs of Oakley Radars?) did do a couple of thetford winter races this was otherwise our season start. For me it was a tester to get some race speed in my legs before the national series kicks off at Sherwood next weekend and also to see how i was going compared to the big boys. Jason put in a respectable ride to finish 17th. Thankfully i didn't make an ar*e of myself and put in a satisfying effort finishing 7th amongst some very big elite boys.

The bike was great and is nice and whippy in the small technical stuff although i still need to find my technical flowing mojo again. hopefully it'll all come back to me next weekend!
