mud, mud glorious mud!

torrential rain and cosford are the mix and its gonna be interesting. some people dont even get their bikes out. others are more keen. i'm motivated and know i can win. matt b is about so i know its not gonna be easy. A fast start and i'm behind and need to get a ahead of all the spray and mud. i get to the first corner of the field behind matt. its very slippy bit like an ice rink. i get past matt and immediately spin off. i get past matt again and spin off hitting a tree. we both laugh at the ridculous conditions. i take it easy and follow matt for the most of the first lap. i attack on the last climb and get a gap. i crack on and gap consistently every lap. at the finish theres not a spare inch thats not covered in mud and my gears are chewed up. A satisfying if not the muddiest win ever. happy and confident for my big race!.
